Copenhagen

Long time no talk! For the last 10+ days I´ve been on a cruise ship with limited internet access. Honestly it felt a little good to disconnect for a bit, as long as I tried to ignore the urge to update/study/check instagram. But as a result, I have so many pictures to share and things to write about, I don´t know where to start!

First of all, my family and I went on a cruise with the Royal Caribbean ship "Brilliance Of The Seas". The cruise started in London, and then made it´s way to Copenhagen, and then to Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm, Visby, and Oslo before returning to London. I hadn´t been to most of these cities before, despite living pretty close by all of them. I´ll write a little more in depth about all of the different excursions in future posts. My family jumped on the cruise in Copenhagen, so here are some photos of our stay there.

It was pretty rainy day, just look at that grey cloud. Luckily it lightened up later.

You can see loads of bicycles parked behind my sister. Copenhagen is one of the most cyclist friendly cities in the world, and I would forget that some sidewalks were for cyclists only so I was almost run over multiple times. It was my own fault  for not paying attention haha.

This was a display in a department store in Strøget, the longest pedestrian street in the world, and Copenhagen´s main shopping street. It reads; "Just let the men go naked as long as the girls can shop". I couldn´t resist.

Couldn´t resist taking a picture with this guy either.

Our family is a sucker for amusement parks, so going to Copenhagen´s tivoli was a must.

This ride is my favourite. You can see the whole city when you´re at the top.

I have been to Copenhagen a few times before, and I´ll definitely be coming back in the future.
